Ai San Yip
Ai San is working in Exploit Technologies, A*STAR, a technology transfer office in Singapore. She has a Degree with Honours, Upper Division (Microbiology), National University of Singapore. Now that she has developed a solid foundation in core business concepts, she is embarking on a Manchester Business School MBA global education to broaden her knowledge between technologies, marketing and new media.
Cheryl Ann Ma
Cheryl is pursuing her Degree with Honours (Life Sciences, Biomedical Science), National University of Singapore. After her internship experience at Exploit Technologies, A*STAR, it has come to her attention that the biotechnology companies in Singapore are extremely fragmented. With this website, she hopes to aid in the formation of a bio-cluster in Singapore.
Erwin Chan
Erwin has a PhD in Immunology from the University of Western Australia. He has also spent several years overseas in United Kingdom and Sweden for his studies and research. Now, back in Singapore, Erwin is establishing himself in the space of technology transfer, intellectual property (IP) and entrepreneurship. Through Genewired, he hopes to be able to uncover the burgeoning biomedical industry of Singapore and find ways for stakeholders to foster discussion and collaboration within and beyond Singapore.

Larry Lim
Larry is running a biomedical science sales department dealing with research equipment in B. Braun Singapore. He holds a Diploma in Biotechnology from Temasek Polytechnic. Being in a field where he comes in contact with commercial products and applications of modern biotechnology industry, he hopes to bring fresh insights and methodologies to the bio-field.
Mingwei Fan
Mingwei is pursuing his Degree with Honours (Biological Sciences), Nanyang Technolgical University. He manages his start-up, metaGenes Pte Ltd, a Research and Development company registered in 2005. For more than 5 years, he has been helping clients with technical developments and implementation of new technology.
Raymond Chia
Raymond has a Degree with Honours (Life Sciences, Molecular and Cell Biology), National University Singapore. He did a research project at Institute of Molecular Biology and Bioprocessing Technology Institutes, A*STAR. He joined Roche Singapore as a Biotechnologist, Technical Operations. Having gained a wide exposure to the field of biosciences, he believes that the more prospective graduates know about what is out there for them the better, and that Genewired is ready to serve as one of those sources of information.
Shou Yi Poon
Shou Yi is an account manager in biomedical sciences sector, International Enterprise Singapore. He has a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Business (Biotechnology), both from Brown University. Focusing on connecting people, sharing ideas and making things happen, Shou Yi believes Genewired will be a great platform for Singapore's biotech industry.
Wei Hsien Lee
Wei Hsien received his Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours, Upper Division (Life Sciences, Biomedical Science), National University of Singapore. He has diversified experience in management consulting, business development, project management and new venture creation. He aspires to play an integral role in the shaping the business landscape and strategic development of Singapore as a regional investment hub for biomedical technology.
